Car Seat Buggy 2 in 1 - Combos That Are Easy to Use

Car seat buggy 2 in 1 combines the two most important pieces of baby gear that is the infant car seat and the stroller. It makes it so much easier to get on and off public transportation (and walk up and down stairs).

One of the most effective options is the Doona infant car seat and stroller combo. It's the world's first completely integrated travel system that allows you to switch between the car seat and stroller in seconds without disturbing your baby.

Simple to use

Parents should have a stroller and car seat combination that is easy to use. These travel systems allow you to easily switch between running errands walking the dog and going for an exercise. They also help you keep up with your little one's changing needs so that you can focus on enjoying your family adventures. Our testers are impressed by the ease and speed with which these travel systems glide, whether they have one front wheel or a swiveling rear wheel. The Thule Urban Glide 2 Combo and the BOB Alterrain Pro combo are especially easy to move however, the Baby Jogger City Mini GT 2 Combo and the BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 Combo can be pushed easily with a single hand.

Some models can be difficult to remove or attach from the base. The Doona Combo requires a two step process for attachment, as well as straps that cover the bottom portion of the infant carrier. It is tempting to skip these steps, however this could result in dangerous results.

Similarly, some models are difficult to fold and store away, which makes them less convenient than others. Graco FastAction 3 in 1 Car Seat Stroller is difficult to fold because of its huge dimensions and bulky frames. It also has a small canopy that some test users are disappointed with. The Britax Parkway Combo Click and Go is simple to fold, with only a push of a button and a pull of the lever. This model is a fantastic choice for parents who want to use their car seat in the other vehicles, since it can be easily detached from the base.

Easy to Fold

If you're storing your car seat on its own, in the trunk of your car or even in a closet, it should be simple to fold and unfold. The most effective combinations we've tested fold easily with just one hand and are sturdy enough to withstand long walks. They're also easy to maneuver, gliding smoothly over bumps and uneven surfaces. We've seen some combos that can only be connected or disengaged using straps which could be a hassle and make it difficult for parents to ensure that the car seat is secured properly.

We love the BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 Combo due to its practical features and sturdy build, which include a large storage basket that is accessible from the front to back. Its exclusive SafeCenter LATCH makes it simple to achieve a secure car seat installation by simply connecting the lower anchors by pulling the straps tightly and clicking the carrier into the base.

It's also fairly light, making it a great choice for frequent travelers or families with multiple vehicles. The Baby Jogger City Mini GT 2 Combo and the Thule Urban Glide 2 have also scored very well in our ease-of-use tests. Both come with a single front wheel that's simple to push (one-handed! Both have a single front wheel which is easy to push (one-handed!). They also have a movable spinner wheel, ideal for shopping and running errands. The only downside is that they're quite heavy and may be difficult to lift up when carrying a baby in the car seat.

Easy to Assemble

Some stroller and car seat combos can be difficult to assemble. The UPPAbaby Cruz v2 Combo is one of the simplest travel systems to assemble. It comes with a helpful guide. Other models, such as the UPPAbaby Minu and UPPAbaby Vista V2 Thule urban Glide 2 and Baby Trend Snap-N-Go EX Universal were also simple to assemble. The BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 Combo, on the other hand isn't easy to put together.  2 in 1 pram and pushchair  requires two steps to attach the lower anchors and using straps that cover the bottom of the carrier. It's heavy, which means it requires two people to click the carrier in the base, and then remove it.

In our tests, it took us about 5 minutes to put the UPPAbaby Cruz v2 together. This is a bit fast when you consider the time it saves by not having to remove all of the individual pieces. Most of these models have an easy process for attaching and detaching the toddler's seat, as well.
